Lucky in Love

St. Patrick’s Day means more to me than just shamrocks and leprechauns lucky for me it marks my first date and anniversary with my husband. This sweets table was designed to display yummy treats that my hubby and I both love!!

Carli of Dimpleprints created a tailored printable set using preppy green and pink stripes, gold glitter hearts and of course lucky four leaf clovers! Pink being my favorite color it was the perfect addition to the traditional green associated with St. Patrick’s Day! Gold glitter was used to signify my hubby and I finding love at the end of the rainbow! Be sure to stop by my blog for a link to download your free Lucky in Love printables!!

I used my favorite Mosser Glass cake stand and two domed pasty stands to keep the preppy feel throughout the table! The cake stand held a classic chocolate cake while the two domed pastry stands encased stunning shamrock cookie towers. Shimmery gold heart cake pops, mini cheesecakes, mint Oreo trifles and shamrock milk shake shooters were all served in quantities of four because our home now holds not only my hubby and I but two fun loving boys as well!! Macarons and pink roses also embrace a significant place in my heart as both were gifts from my hubby when we started dated!

From the bottom of my chocolate covered heart to yours..I hope you fall Lucky in Love this St. Patrick’s Day!!

Yellow and Purple Monkey Birthday Party

Today I am excited to share with you the monkey sweets table that I put together for my niece!! Miss Madeline turned 4 last May in swinging monkey style!!

Miss Madeline decided on a monkey theme using her favorite color purple!! This party was Madeline’s first big birthday party and I wanted to make it super special!! My inspiration for this sweets table was Madeline’s love for all things sweet and monkeys of course!!

For the backdrop I simply bought some light purple fabric and mounted it to foam board!! I added pendants flags in assorted directions!! My favorite party of the backdrop was the green tree with monkeys!! I purchased this at Hobby Lobby on clearance because one of the limbs had been broken off…I added a few monkeys, painted the pink flowers purple and added a couple of vines and no one noticed the breaks!!

The sweets table featured a cake, cake pops, chocolate covered pretzels, rock candy, grape tootsie rolls, banana taffy (my nieces favorite candy on the planet), marshmallows, chocolate covered Oreos, banana popcorn and sugar cookies!!

To tie in the pendants from the background I decorated each jars with pendants and matching ribbon!! I love how it tied the whole party together!!

The party favors were banana shaped and filled with yummy candy that the kids just loved!!

Miss Madeline was so excited to show of her outfit!! We couldn’t seem to get a pic where she wasn’t squinting but I still think she looked adorable!! Most important she told everyone that she felt like a princess!!

The party went off without a hitch!! My sister and I couldn’t have been happier with how Miss Madeline’s party turned out!! Need favors for your next party?? Be sure to stop by my shop Autumn Lynn’s Chocolate Sins!!

Elmo’s Picnic in the Park

Today I am happy to share with you Elmo’s Picnic in the Park!! I did this sweets table early last year in the hot summer heat!! I hope you enjoy all the fun Elmo and ant elements!! Beautiful Lake Erie is the backdrop!!

Since Elmo is so popular I really wanted to add a few other elements to the party!!! I thought why not add picnic baskets and a few ants here and there!! As always, Dimpleprints had just the party printables that I needed to get the job done!! I opted for no backdrop for this party since I had beautiful Lake Erie in the background!!

One of the easiest sweets table items to make is sugared marshmallows!! Simply insert a toothpick into the marshmallow dip in water and roll in sugar, let dry for one hour and insert the party straw of your choice!! Super easy and cost effective!!! I am a big believer that each every sweets table needs sugar adorable are these picnic basket sugar cookies?? I added little “napkins” to small baskets and filled them with red licorice bites!! Since this was an Elmo themed picnic I had to have at least one edible Elmo element…chocolate lollipops did a perfect job!!

I made small party cones to hold the cherry flavored popcorn my hubby and I had made a week ahead of time!! This popcorn was super easy and cheap to make and was a huge hit with the party goers!! The cake pops were red velvet and adorned with little ants….of course!! I used super fun Sparkle Sticks to add a little extra bling to the cake pops!! I love how the turquoise and red work so well together!!

The table also featured vanilla mini donuts dipped in red and turquoise sugar!! The donuts didn’t love the heat so much but they still tasted super yummy!! The best element of the table was the cake!! The cake was displayed coming out of the top of a picnic basket and featured Elmo with his very own picnic basket!!

The party favors were little baskets also lined with matching fabric from the party!! I filled them with bubbles, a small beverage, and a package of cookies!! The kids loved playing with the bubbles and had a small snack to take home with them!!! Did you notice the party poms used throughout the table…these poms added the punch of color that I need to the front of the party table, the top of the cake, and the front of the favor display..get your party pomshere!!

Splish Splash Rubber Duck Party

I know!! I know!!! How many parties can you post in one week?? Well these week I am challenging myself to post a party for 7 days….not because I am bored but because I honestly need to get them all listed!! Today I am excited to share with you the Rubber Duck arty that I styled a several months ago! This party was a ton of fun to create. I used lots of yellow, pink and blue and a side of glitter to really make the party sparkle in the sun!

Rubber ducks were the main feature on my table!! I created the centerpiece using a rubber duck spout cover. Too add the extra flair that I thought the ducks needs I added glitter and of course pink bows for the girly touch! The plastic containers used on the table all came for my local Dollar Tree. A cost effective and fun way to add color to my table!!

As always my adorable printables are from Dimpleprints!! Carli from Dimpleprints offers the largest and most complete printables that I have found on the net!! Be sure to check out her shop for all your party printables!

The sweets table was composed of several different desserts featuring rubber ducks!! The biggest hit on the table was the cake pops that were shaped like bath tubs with added bubbles and a rubber ducky!! The bath time Jello treat was inspired by a pic on Pinterest!! I made this Jello treat by simple combining Jello and Cool Whip!! Different size marshmallows were used around many of my treats to give the illusion of bubbles!! 3D chocolate ducks floated on a pool of blue sugar!! Adorable and delicious sugar cookies were made by Megan of Sweet Baketique!

My favorite element of the whole table was the vintage blue Ball Mason Jars! These jars were filled with lemonade and a floating rubber ducky!! Pink and blue polka dot nut cups were filled with mini marshmallows, kettle corn, and Sixlets for the perfect sweet and salty mix!! Thanks Carli for the great idea!! I also made a few mini donuts that were covered in chocolate and dipped in sugar! Bright colored lollipops and matching gumballs added a little height to the table!!

The party was a huge hit with kids and adults alike! Thanks for checking out my party and be sure to check out my shop Autumn Lynn’s Chocolate Sins for all your dessert table needs!!

Reed’s Monster Bash Birthday Party

Good morning today I am so excited to get Reed’s Monster Bash up on my blog!!  This is the second year that I have had to privilege of doing Reed’s party! Last year he wanted sock monkeys and this year he picked monsters!!! This party was my favorite party to plan so far!!

My favorite part of planning this party was making the 4ft tall monsters; they were made to match the printables made by Dimpleprints. The party boy fell in love with them!

monster-3-600x800 monster-5-600x974 monster-6-600x728 monster-8-600x450

I created lots of fuzzy boxes and mason jars to display my monster goodies!! Covering these boxes was super easy and added just the fuzzy touch my table needed!! However getting a hold of the fuzzy material wasn’t so easy…I finally bought and cut up two blankets from Walmart…I am still finding fuzz in the!!

monster-2-600x450 monster-9-600x450 monster-10-600x440

The hardest part of planning this party for me was coming up with monster themed treats that wouldn’t be too scary and would be age appropriate!! I decided on Monster Mash Rice Crispy Treats with each monster from the printables on them! Number 2 chocolate lollipops labeled I see you two’s!! Chocolate covered Nutter Butter’s labeled monster feet!!  Monster marshmallow…which were the first items to fly off the table!! I also made Rock Monster from rock candy, Hershey chocolate bars wrapped to match the printables!! Thanks for everyone for taking a look at Reed’s Monster Bash!! I hope you enjoyed all the fuzzy details!! Need sweets for your next party?? Please stop by my shop I love custom requests!!
